Sitecore announced availability of Adaptive Print Studio, its new technology that enables marketers, technical communicators, and designers to utilize Sitecore’s Web platform as a central hub for all Adobe InDesign content including document layouts and settings to accelerate the publishing cycle for print media.
Adaptive Print Studio works as plug-in to Adobe InDesign, allowing users to download content from Sitecore’s Content Management System (CMS) directly into InDesign. Adaptive Print Studio supports team collaboration, multi-lingual management, workflow control, securitys, and dynamic content delivery functionality of InDesign and InCopy. The tool requires no knowledge of InDesign prior to reviewing and customizing PDFs and other print projects. In addition to streamlining the publishing cycle internally among product, sales and service teams, the company notes that Adaptive Print Studio provides online access the Sitecore Community.
“The design and print production of marketing materials takes up about 30 percent of a marketer’s budget and a significant amount of time is wasted because content creators rely on designers for layout and print needs,” said Darren Guarnaccia, senior vice president, product marketing, Sitecore. “Adaptive Print Studio gives marketing departments the freedom and flexibility to create professional PDFs and print collateral.
