TechPubs Global, provider of aviation technical publications management software and services to the global aviation industry, has announced two additions to its executive team.
Jingjun Long has been promoted to Vice President of Product Development, and will assume responsibility as General Manager for TechPubs’ China subsidiary. Long joined TechPubs in 2009 and assumed his most recent responsibilities as Director of Product R&D in April 2010. In that role, Long developed, grew, and provided technical and professional services leadership to TechPubs’ China team. In his new role, Long will continue to oversee product development while spearheading new business development opportunities in the China market and nearby regions.
Charles Angione joins TechPubs as Vice President of Professional Services and CTO. Angione comes to TechPubs from Parametric Technology Corporation (PTC), where he most recently served as Chief Architect and a Technical Fellow. At PTC, he managed master architects across all regions for the Arbortext business unit and was responsible for overall consistency and integrity of Arbortext projects worldwide. Previously, he was a Solution Architect at Arbortext before it was purchased by PTC. He has a long history and leadership reputation in XML solutions, including roles at Jeppesen and Harris’ Government Communications division.
“These two executives are critical additions to the management bench at TechPubs, at the most active, dynamic time in our history,” remarked David Williams, TechPubs President and CEO. “Long and Charles have unmatched backgrounds in the technologies and services that underlie aviation’s most advanced document management solutions. Aside from the obvious impact they’ll have internally at TechPubs, the direct beneficiaries will be our customers, who can rely on an even stronger commitment to building solutions that meet and exceed their requirements and expectations.”
